A year ago, I made a plan to record my own album before my 31st birthday. A lot of personal things ended up getting in the way and I had to put the album project on hold, indefinitely.
It's been a crazy year.
Now, a year later, weeks before my 32nd birthday, I'm getting ready to record again. This time, however, it's not going to be in my home studio, but in the multi-million dollar Audio Temple at the University I work at.
I'm going to be recording an EP of about four or five songs. I'm incredibly excited and grateful for this opportunity, and I have to thank Justin Connors of Ape Prime Productions for setting it up.
We'll be releasing it before the end of the year, and I plan on blogging and posting more about throughout the process.
I'm also going to be starting a weekly "Behind the Music" style blog series wherein each post will focus on one of my songs and the stories and inspirations behind it.
